Using this website
The site code does not use advertising pixels, analytics scripts, embedded third-party media, account registration or email signup forms. It does not set cookies or use local storage. Fonts and scripts are served with the site.
The hosting and network providers necessarily receive request information, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser details, to deliver and protect the website. Their infrastructure may keep security and access logs under their own policies. This site does not promise that its hosting infrastructure is log-free.
The calculator and checklist
Calculations and checklist changes happen in your browser. The calculator does not submit a form or send measurements to the publisher. Copying a plan creates a URL containing its measurements; opening or sharing that URL can make those values visible in browser history, server request logs and to anyone who receives the link. Do not enter personal information. Printing uses your browser's print function.
Amazon and other external links
Clicking an external link takes you to another service, which applies its own privacy practices. Amazon links include an affiliate tracking tag. Amazon may use cookies or other mechanisms on its service to attribute qualifying purchases. We can receive affiliate reporting about referrals and earnings, not your Amazon account password or payment details.
Contact email
If you email the publisher, your address and message are used to answer the inquiry and handle relevant corrections or privacy requests. The basis for handling ordinary correspondence is the publisher's legitimate interest in running the site and responding to readers. Email providers process correspondence to deliver and store it, potentially in other countries under their own service arrangements.
The retention policy is to delete ordinary correspondence within 12 months after the matter is resolved, unless keeping it is needed for an ongoing issue or legal obligation. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Contact the publisher to request access, correction or deletion of your correspondence; applicable law may provide additional rights and exceptions.
