Start with the task that feels crowded
Write down what you cannot do comfortably in the current arrangement: move the mouse, open a notebook, see the laptop display, or reach a connector. An accessory has earned a place on the shortlist only if it addresses that specific interruption. Moving unused objects may solve the problem without a purchase.

Keyboard and mouse: preserve working space
The Pebble Keys 2 K380s is a compact Bluetooth keyboard option. Before replacing a larger keyboard, record which keys you use, including any numeric keypad. Check the US layout, supported operating systems and connection requirements. Saving space is not useful if an important task becomes awkward.
The Pebble Mouse 2 M350s can provide separate pointing input when a laptop is on a stand. Its physical shell does not define the space needed to use it. Trace your normal mouse movement with the current device and leave that area free. We make no comfort, tracking or noise verdict for either product.
Stand or riser: choose the right support job
The fixed Twelve South Curve holds an open laptop; it is not the adjustable Curve Flex. Compare it with the existing Rain Design mStand only after accounting for the laptop lid, side ports, separate keyboard and mouse. Buying two stands does not improve one laptop setup.
The VIVO STAND-V000D is a freestanding monitor-riser format, not an arm. Check support and load instructions, the monitor base and the free opening beneath the shelf. The product’s 24-inch description is not the under-shelf opening. A keyboard stored beneath a riser still needs its own space when you type.
Run one paper-layout calculation
For a fictional 36-inch-wide clear surface, reserve 12 inches for a mouse movement area and 2 inches between it and the keyboard. That leaves 22 inches for the keyboard zone: 36 minus 12 minus 2. These are example reservations, not product dimensions or ergonomic standards.
If your actual keyboard already fits that zone, a compact replacement may not be the priority. Repeat the budget in depth and include the screen support. Do not count the same strip both as an active keyboard area and as storage for another object.
Tidy cables last
ONE-WRAP ties can group cables once the equipment positions work. The linked black version is a 100-pack of 8-by-half-inch ties. Count the bundles you actually have; a large pack is not a reason to buy more accessories.
Keep plugs accessible and accommodate the permitted movement of adjustable equipment. Cable grouping does not establish electrical suitability, strain relief or safe mounting. Finish with a buying brief containing the one unresolved problem, the exact model, your measurements and the reason the existing equipment cannot solve it.
